Durante su estancia en Ámsterdam, no puede perderse este parque de tulipanes de fama mundial. Esta excursión de 5,5 horas sale varias veces al día de la Estación Central de Ámsterdam y el traslado directo le lleva a la entrada principal del Keukenhof, para que pueda pasear despreocupadamente por los 15 km de senderos rodeados de más de siete millones de flores. Abierto menos de dos meses al año, Keukenhof es el mayor jardín de flores de toda Europa. Tulpen en Amsterdam

Een van de beste momenten om Amsterdam te bezoeken is wanneer de tulpen in bloei staan. De bloeiperiode van bloemen in Nederland, waaronder onze wereldberoemde tulpen, wordt grotendeels bepaald door het weer en de temperaturen in de winter en het voorjaar. Bij zachte winters en een warm voorjaar begint de bloei eerder, waardoor de start van het tulpenseizoen de afgelopen jaren varieerde tussen april en mei, afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden.

Hoewel de bloeiperiode kan variëren, valt de piek gemiddeld rond half april. In deze periode staan de tulpenvelden in volle bloei en zorgen zij voor spectaculaire, kleurrijke uitzichten. Dit is zonder twijfel de beste tijd om de tulpen te ervaren.

Keukenhof

De Keukenhof is een park waar de bloemenpracht van het Nederlandse voorjaar centraal staat. De naam betekent letterlijk ‘Kitchen garden’ en verwijst naar de 15e eeuw, toen de tuin van kasteel Teylingen verse ingrediënten leverde voor de kasteelkeuken. In 1950 opende het park officieel als openbare bloemententoonstelling, zoals we die vandaag de dag kennen.

Plan je bezoek

Dit jaar opent de Keukenhof haar deuren voor bloemenliefhebbers van 19 maart tot en met 10 mei, dagelijks tussen 08.00 en 19.00 uur. Het park ligt in Lisse, op ongeveer 30 minuten van Amsterdam, en is eenvoudig bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer.

Vanaf Amsterdam is de Keukenhof eenvoudig bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer. Reis eerst met metrolijn M52 vanaf Amsterdam Centraal Station of vanuit het stadscentrum naar station Amsterdam RAI en stap uit bij halte Europaplein. Vanaf daar vertrekt de KeukenhofBuzz, bus 852, die je in ongeveer 35 minuten zonder tussenstops rechtstreeks naar de Keukenhof brengt.

Reis je vanaf Schiphol Airport, neem dan de trein of bus naar station Hoofddorp en stap daar over op de KeukenhofBuzz, bus 859. Deze directe verbinding brengt je zonder tussenstops naar de hoofdingang van de Keukenhof.

Tulips & Amsterdam

One of the best times to visit Amsterdam is when the tulips are in bloom. The bloom period of flowers in the Netherlands (like our famous tulips) is mainly determined by the weather and temperature in the winter and spring. Logically with warmer temperatures during winter and spring, the bloom period starts earlier, so over the past few years the start of the bloom period varied between April and May depending on the weather.

Although the bloom period is variable, on average, the peak bloom period occurs as of mid April. During this peak, the tulip fields are in full blossom allowing for breathtaking sights and a bubbly feeling all around, this is the best time to visit for the tulips.

Keukenhof

The Keukenhof is a park that exhibits the floral beauty of springtime in the Netherlands. Its name literally translates to ‘Kitchen Garden’, dating back to the 15th century during which the garden, belonging to Teylingen Castle, supplied fresh ingredients for the castle’s kitchen. In the year 1950 the garden officially became the public exhibition of springtime flowers we know today.

Plan Your Visit

This year, the Keukenhof opens its doors to flower-enthusiasts between March 19 and May 10, with opening times between 08:00 and 19:00 every day. The park is located in Lisse, at a 30-minute distance from Amsterdam, easily accessible by public transport.

From Amsterdam you can easily reach Keukenhof by public transport. Travel first to Amsterdam RAI (Europaplein) by metro line M52 from Central Station or the city centre. From there, take the KeukenhofBuzz (bus 852), which brings you directly to Keukenhof in about 35 minutes without stops.

If you are travelling from Schiphol Airport, take a short train or bus ride to Hoofddorp Station and transfer to the KeukenhofBuzz (bus 859). This direct connection takes you straight to the main entrance of Keukenhof.
